Frame it

On to the next project! My trip to Goodwill resulted in me buying 4 picture frames and having no idea in mind of what to do with them. So...Pinterest here I come! There were SO many project ideas but I knew I wanted to start small and do something quick with these. Also, Mother's Day was coming up soon and I found a couple of cute ideas for a Mother's Day gift.

I have always wanted to use chalkboard paint so I went down to my local Hobby Lobby and grabbed a little bottle since this was a small project and broke out my roller! I rolled the glass with 2 coats of chalkboard paint and painted the frame a light, chalky blue. And fell in love!

The light blue against the black chalkboard turned out so well I think. So...I decided to paint the other frame the same blue but turn it into an earring holder. Joann had ribbon on sale so I picked up a roll of ribbon with holes in it to hang earrings from. I discovered you can also hook studs on the ribbon.
